My name is Hannah Laville. I study natural resource management and ecology at Louisiana State University, with a particular interest in coastal restoration. As a lifelong Louisianan, I feel defensive of the state as it faces environmental dilemmas and coastal land loss. As a student, I feel hopeful as I learn solutions to restoring Louisiana’s natural systems. My intention in creating this blog is to explore coastal restoration from a place of sound science and with respect to the perspectives of all stake holders.
